National Drink Wine Day & a WhoDunnit Dinner – This Saturday Night
This Saturday (February 18th) is National Drink Wine Day and we’re hosting Dinner Theatre with The Detectives. This interactive night of food and mystery makes date night a little more mysterious and romantic.
Why the Parker House for Drink Wine Day?
In a metaphorical sense, wine is in our veins. We are pros of the wine industry, having spent years in both sales and marketing of vino. And our sommolier is here to help you understand the different wines and pairings so that the glass is as memorable as the food.
Please join us as we celebrate a national day of grape this Saturday.
What can I expect at a dinner theatre show?
Dinner theatre starts with great food. Chef Andy is bringing you a fine 3-course meal complete with salad, an entree and dessert.
The dinner theatre show is all about interaction and mystery. The Detectives, a local performance group, will lead you and other Parker House guests through an interactive, four-scene show that lasts about two hours. The show has a rating of PG to PG-13 and is as funny as it is mysterious. Guests join the fun when a member of the cast dies. It’s up to you and the rest of the audience to figure out “whodunnit?”
You’ll be assigned to a team, which is typically your table. The team is responsible for determining the killer and the motive. In addition, you’ll be asked a variety of questions. Right answers result in prizes!
According to The Detectives, “it’s sort of like CLUE, but funnier.”
